Event Details
Foraging 101 is an introductory class that will examine the do's and don't's of getting started at foraging in connecticut. We will go over basic tools, the where's, when's, and how's of navigating the "wilds" of the state, and approaches to collecting what you find. The second half of the class will go over a few items from each season that a beginner can easily find and identify. Gina will bring some items that were made from foraged materials and foods for participants to try.
