Dr. John Cappodana is a primary care internist, that practiced for 40 plus years, and now is teaching medical residents at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. He has been speaking about healthcare reform for 7 years.
In this presentation he will be speaking about Medicare Advantage, what it is, how and why it is that private insurance companies furnish Medicare benefits, the steps taken by insurers to promote it, its cost and what subscribers give up for the so-called “advantages”, and who benefits from it.
