She is proud to be a founding member of the Faxon Poets of West Hartford and to have participated in all of their published anthologies, "Perspectives I-XIII", 2006-2019. She is a two time award winner for her poems in the West Hartford, CT poetry contest. And most recently, an international best-selling author with her two poems, 'Old Women in the Locker Room' and 'The Young Women' in the book, "The Essence of a Woman: Unleash the Feminine Soul." She lives in West Hartford with her partner, also a World War II veteran, Mervyn Strauss.
