Bloomfield Public Library is excited to partnering again with the Children's Museum of West Hartford for some great Fun Fridays programs! They will join us at our Prosser Library location on the first and second Fridays of each month:
Fourth Fridays - Book Buzz and Open Book Club. On fourth Fridays, our BPL librarians will share some interesting books (new and old) with kids present. This will also be an "Open Book Club" where kids can share thoughts on what they are currently reading with their peers. Our librarians may ask for help with formally creating recommendations for other library users, designing book marks for the public, etc.
NOTE: On the first and second Fridays of each month, we will be visited by staff from the Children's Museum of West Hartford for exciting challenges with robotics, engineering, and learning from live animals visitors. On the third Fridays, our BPL librarians will facilitate the Crazy 8s Math Club Challenges.
Homeschoolers of all ages, birth to teen, are invited! The programs try to cover as many ages as possible. Sign up for each class is appreciated. If you have questions, please email ndolat@libraryconnection.info
