Program Description

Event Details

Come to the Atrium to listen to picture book biographies about African American heroes, for Black History Month!  After we share stories about author, Langston Hughes, and artist Alma Thomas, we will make a paper mosaic portrait of one of these heroes.  These stories are longer, and this program is best for ages 6 to 11.  Please register for this program so we have enough materials.  Children who are able, are welcome to attend this program on their own, but a caregiver must remain in the Library.  We look forward to seeing you!
