Program Description

Event Details

January is Radon Awareness Month! Radon is a naturally occurring gas that can enter homes without any warning. The only way to know your levels is to test: a quick, easy, and potentially lifesaving process. The West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District will give out FREE radon test kits at our libraries on these dates:

  • January 7th, 10:30–11:30 AM: McMahon Wintonbury Library, 1015 Blue Hills Ave.
  • January 26th, 10:30 AM–12:00 PM: Prosser Library, 1 Tunxis Ave. (Free wellness screenings will also be offered on this date.)

Stop by our table to pick up a radon test kit, browse health resources, and check in on your wellness!
