Program Description
Event Details
We depend on all of our senses—touching, tasting, hearing, smelling, and seeing—to gather impressions of our environment. Nature provides us with many unforgettable sounds; breezes whistling through the leaves, birds singing early in the morning, and streams gurgling over rocks are just some of the sounds children recognize. We will be exploring sounds in nature by using our sense of hearing. In this story time with BPL youth librarians and Kristen from the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, children will focus on the many sounds that are found in both natural and built environments.
Registration is appreciated, but not required. Best for ages 2–5 but all ages welcome.
