Event Details

Unveiling Your Money Story: Understanding the Roots of Your Financial Behavior delves into the narratives and beliefs that shape our financial decisions. Through self-reflection exercises and interactive discussions, participants will uncover their unique money stories, exploring how childhood experiences, cultural influences, and personal values impact their relationship with money. By gaining insight into their money narratives, attendees can begin to rewrite their financial scripts for a more empowering future.

BPL is excited to welcome back Rahkim Sabree. Rahkim is an author/columnist and financial coach who focuses on the intersection of financial education and financial trauma as a barrier to achieving financial empowerment. He often discusses the impact of his early experiences with poverty on his relationship with money. He also dives into the nuances of financial trauma, culture, and race and their impact on the wealth gap in the Black community.
