Join BPL Youth Librarians for a very special storytime...
We'll be visited by local Bloomfield, CT. author Lauren Gibson-Carter! She will read her debut picture book, When Mema Drinks Coffee, and the librarians will lead a simple craft for all attendees.
When Mema Drinks Coffee is an intergenerational book with an important reminder of the need for interpersonal relationships across the lifespan, especially in a world of technical distractions. It recalls and shares childhood memories while teaching interdependence and building self worth.
