Welcome to the 28th Season of the Wintonbury Poetry Series!
For October our featured poets are:
James Finnegan has published poems in Ploughshares, Poetry Northwest, The Southern Review, The Virginia Quarterly Review, as well as in the anthologies: Good Poems: American Places; Laureates of Connecticut; Shadows of Unfinished Things; Imagining Vesalius; Waking Up to the Earth; and Walkers in the City. He posts aphoristic ars poetica on the blog ursprache: https://ursprache.blogspot.com/.
John L. Stanizzi - 14 collections-Sleepwalking, Chants, others. Besides Passionfruit, he’s in Prairie Schooner, Rattle, others. Nonfiction - Stone Coast, Metaworker others, former Wesleyan Etherington Scholar, Poet-in-Residence at Manchester Community College. 2021, Connecticut Fellowship/Creative Writing – Non-Fiction-Connecticut Office of Arts. The piece - "Pants," named by Potato Soup Journal, “Best of 2022.”
