This is the start of a new book club for tweens featuring books from the popular "Who Was" series of biographies!

For Black History Month, Women’s History Month, and America’s 250th Anniversary, we will feature three different sessions that explore African American artists from different time periods in American history.

Join BPL youth librarians for a storytime and craft at McMahon Wintonbury Library, 1015 Blue Hills Ave.

Registration is appreciated, but not required. Best for ages 2–5, but all ages welcome!

No school, no problem!  Come to the McMahon Wintonbury Library to work on a craft while enjoying some cookies. Crafts and cookies will be provided for children of all ages.

Too young to have an interview? Never! Applying for a job this summer? Join us! Attend this onsite seminar and learn how at any age you can build your confidence and develop interview skills that will land you a job.

Are you a fan of the Keeper of the Lost Cities books?

Come learn and play chess!  

Join Yonatan Axelrad of New Britain Chess Club for chess instruction and supervised games.

For children, tweens and teens (ages 8 and up). All skill levels welcome!

For Women’s History Month, we will watch the film Barbie (2023). Refreshments will be provided.
