DESCRIPTION:Meet us in the Prosser lounge to prep three healthy family cou
 rses with your child. Children will leave with an overnight oats jar, a n
 annawrap, and a taco salad. The prep for each will be done at the library 
 and then taken home to finish (for example, microwave the taco salad at ho
 me). Jars/containers and all ingredients will be provided. The workshop 
 includes a short presentation on nutrition basics, macro nutrients, portio
 n sizes, pantry must-haves and replacements, nutrition labels, and tips on
  navigating the grocery store. We will also discuss picky eaters.Best for 
 ages 5 to 12. (For allergy concerns, scroll down for a list of ingredients
 .)This workshop is limited to 12 children and no more than one caregiver p
 er child for space reasons. Registration is required.About the presenter: 
 Faith is a Parent Ambassador for the Alliance for Bloomfield’s Children 
 (ABC) and a Certified Nutrition Coach. She believes that health isn’t j
 ust about what’s on your plate—it’s about what’s on your mind. Fai
 th has spent her career decoding the complex relationship between the psyc
 hology and physiology of nutrition. She specializes in child nutrition, mi
 ndfulness, and the science of supplementation. She has a master’s degre
 e in psychology, and holds National Academy of Sports Medicine certificati
 ons in both nutrition and personal training.As a parent ambassador for ABC
 , Faith also connects families with early childhood resources in the local
  community. She is a voice for caregivers—advocating for funding, resour
 ces, and changes that positively impact CT families.Overnight oats: Greek

 t, spices, honey or maple syrup, choice of six flavors (apple pie, pumpkin
  pie, banana with Nutella, Almond Joy, maple brown sugar, blueberry lemon
