Event Details
BPL is proud to once again partner with CT Humanities to bring back the Book Voyagers series!
Book Voyagers programs promote the joy of reading and encourage families to create literature-rich home environments. Participants connect to the written word through discussion circles, storytelling, interactive workshops, and hands-on activities such as dramatic readings, theater games, and writing and drawing exercises. All participants receive copies of the books to keep.
Book Voyagers programs are designed to work with libraries, schools, and other community organizations to help parents/caregivers and children build reading skills and bring stories to life, while also helping families to grow their home libraries for continued success.
Families should plan on attending all the program dates in this series or as many they can. Light snacks will be provided.
Best for children in grades 1–3.
