Event Details
CT Humanities Book Voyagers programs are designed to promote the joy of reading and encourage families to create literature-rich home environments. Book Voyagers encourages a love of literature, promotes critical thinking, and gives children the self-confidence to share their thoughts and opinions with others.
Children (and their grownups!) in grades 1-2 are invited to participate in this 4-week series ("Connect, Create, Celebrate Community") at Metacomet Elementary School. Storyteller Judy Stoughton will do guided readings and paired activities each week. Families will all go home with a copy of each week's book. Dinner will be provided for all!
If your child attends Metacomet Elementary School, they should register directly with the school. If your child is homeschooled or schooled elsewhere, please register on bplct.org and we will save a place for you at the event.
Registered families are encouraged to attend all 4 program dates.
