Program Description

Event Details

Join BPL staff for a fieldtrip to Bloomfield's local Auerfarm!

Learn how ICE CREAM is made the old fashioned way! See how liquid changes into a solid by freezing in a hand-cranked ice cream freezer and taste the sweet results. Explore the farm’s 120 acres on a hayride. Visit the Auerfarm animals in the barn and pastures. Suitable for all ages.

We'll meet at Auerfarm (158 Auer Farm Road, Bloomfield).

SPECIAL NOTE: This fieldtrip is being funded through a special financial grant received by Auer Farm. All attendees will be required to answer a brief survey that will ask basic demographic questions: Name, Date of Birth, Race, Gender, Town of Residence, and for youth, What Grade Are You Entering in the Fall.
