Join BPL youth librarians for a storytime and craft  in celebration of Women's History Month at McMahon Wintonbury Library, 1015 Blue Hills Ave.

Registration is appreciated, but not required. Best for ages 2–5, but all ages welcome!

Join Yonatan Axelrad of New Britain Chess Club for chess instruction and supervised games.

For children, tweens and teens (ages 8 and up). All skill levels welcome!

Get comfy. Relax and listen to a middle-grade book. Have a snack. Miss Donna will read aloud each Thursday until we finish the book. This is best for ages 8 to 12, but all are welcome. Registration is appreciated, but not required. 

BPL is proud to once again partner with CT Humanities to bring back the Book Voyagers series. All of our March 2026 featured titles represent the theme, "Rise with Resilience."

For its March reading, Wintonbury Poetry Series is pleased to have David Mello and Donna Merritt read.

The THIRD Friday of each month is dedicated to math!

She Said (2022) portrays New York Times reporters Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor, who together broke one of the most important stories in a generation.

Kids are invited to hang out with Miss Nicole at Prosser Library for a Pokémon Club fan zone. Bring your cards to show off to fellow Pokémon fans, and maybe even agree on some cool card trades!
