Welcome to the Teen Advisory Group (TAG)! TAG is open to students in grades 7-12. Join us at Prosser Library for pizza and a discussion about teen library services in Bloomfield. Attend the meetings that work for you.

The release of the film Hamnet (2025) has sparked a resurgence of interest in William Shakespeare’s play Hamlet.

Join BPL youth librarians for a storytime and craft at McMahon Wintonbury Library, 1015 Blue Hills Ave.

Relax and listen to a middle grade book. Get comfy. Have a snack. Miss Donna will read aloud each Thursday in Prosser's tween room. Once that book is finished, we’ll start a new one.

April is National Fair Housing Month, and everyone deserves a safe place to live without being discriminated against.

Bloomfield Public Library is excited to once again partner with the Children's Museum of West Hartford for some great Fun Friday programs! They will join us at our Prosser Library location on the first and second Friday of each month.

Drop in from 11 AM to 1 PM for our first Local Author Fair at the new Prosser Library! We will have children's and adult titles along with a variety of genres.
