In celebration of Earth Month, BPL is proud to partner with the Bloomfield Pollinator Pathway and the Bloomfield Beautification Committee, who will present a program on native plants.

Join Miss Nicole for an evening of binging anime and manga in the Teen Room at Prosser Library. 

Light snacks will be provided. Registration is appreciated, but not required. All attendees must be ages 12 and up.

Come learn and play chess!  

Join Yonatan Axelrad of New Britain Chess Club for chess instruction and supervised games.

For children, tweens and teens (ages 8 and up). All skill levels welcome!

Join BPL staffer Jean-Michel Sibille as we up-cycle some empty book boxes and turn them into working shelf clocks at Prosser Library! 

Calling all kids and teens that love to create with their hands... 

Prosser Library will provide the air-dry clay and other supplies - you just need to bring your ideas! 

Relax and listen to a middle grade book. Get comfy. Have a snack. Miss Donna will read aloud each Thursday in Prosser's tween room. Once that book is finished, we’ll start a new one.

For its April reading, Wintonbury Poetry Series is pleased to an exciting book launch event.  There will be  a reading from The Nutmeg Anthology: Contemporary Poems of Connecticut. 

Bloomfield Public Library is excited to once again partner with the Children's Museum of West Hartford for some great Fun Friday programs! They will join us at our Prosser Library location on the first and second Friday of each month.

Slow down and get connected to the beauty of spring with a meditative journaling practice among friends. Gentle, mindful guided nature explorations of nature objects with invitations for writing and expressive drawing will be offered.
